At TelCom Construction, LLC, as a Telecom Drill Bores Operator Foreman, you will serve as a working supervisor, overseeing the on-site crew and coordinating Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations to ensure the safe installation of underground cables and conduit. As the technical expert on-site, you will be responsible for balancing hands-on machinery operation with crew management, blueprint interpretation, and strict safety compliance.

What you’ll do

• Lead the Crew: Direct and supervise the daily activities of Operators and Locators; provide hands-on training and mentorship.
• Project Oversight: Plan and execute complex directional bores for fiber optic infrastructure, ensuring adherence to blueprints and production deadlines.
• Safety Leadership: Enforce all OSHA and company safety standards, including Gopher State One Call (811) compliance and utility potholing.
• Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of drill rigs (Vermeer/Ditch Witch), vacuum systems, and locating equipment.
• Job Documentation: Maintain accurate daily production logs and "as-built" maps.

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record 
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it
• At least 3 years of experience operating drill bores equipment within the telecommunications,utilites, or construction industry
• At least 1 year in a leadership or Foreman capacity.
• Able to pass background and drug test 

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely : work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Telecom Drill Bores Operator Foreman- Blaine, MN is $30.00   - $40.00 .
